Why create Christian Art? The answer to that question comes from Jesus’ instructions given during the world-shattering Sermon on the Mount.

“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:14-16.

With a passion to create art that glorifies God, Mark Lawrence began a series of paintings called VerseVisions™ inspired by Bible verses. God says that His word always has a special purpose when He sends it out into the world. Because God talks with us primarily through the Bible, it is very special when we “happen” across a verse in the course of our busy days. Today, you can find these inspirational modern Christian art images and painting throughout the world. It is miraculous how God uses simple art to draw people to Jesus.
